The Mobipaid POS is designed for use in conjunction with an MP Connector. It allows hotels to easily collect payments via a Mobipaid QR code. These payments, when linked to a room are then automatically posted to the Property Management System's guest folio.

- The POS runs on any device, front-desk screens, smartphones, tablets and even conventional POS terminals. The only requirements are a browser and an internet connection.
- It is integrated with your PMS, and payments can be automatically posted to the guest's folio. No manual reconciliation and transaction posting is required.
- The POS can also be used as a self-service terminal where guests can check their outstanding balance and make a payment by scanning the QR code displayed on screen.
- Unique reference numbers ensure easy reconciliation of transaction between your PMS and your Mobipaid portal.
- The MP POS can also be used as a convenient way to pre-authorize payment cards, e.g. on guest arrival or for the provision of extra services.
- It is easy to use, available anytime and anywhere, and with wallets such as Google Pay or Apple Pay offers a convenient and contactless payment experience.
Requirements
The following is required to get started with the MP POS:
- Active Mobipaid Merchant account and Mobipaid portal access.
- Active MP Connector account for your Property Management System.
Getting started
Getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- If not already done, create a QR Code Payment Link in your Mobipaid portal. To do so, click the avatar account icon in the top right corner, and select QR Code Payment Link.
- Enable "Additional Info field". Add a Textbox field. In the field title enter MPPOSRef and in the placeholder field enter reference_number. Disable Required and click Submit. If you wish to make use of the Tip feature, also Enable Tip on the QR Code Link.
- Contact us to activate an account for your MP POS.
Self registration is not available for the MP POS. When you have completed the above steps, you must contact us to activate an account for you.
