About the Connector

The MP-CloudBeds-Connector seamlessly integrates the Mobipaid payment technology and gateway with CloudBeds award winning hospitality management solution. Some of the key features include:
  1. Fully automated deposit collection. The Connector starts scheduling and collecting your deposit payments automatically as soon as a new reservation is created from any channel available in your CloudBeds suite.
  2. The Connector can also manage multiple currencies, if you wish to charge in currencies other than your property's default currency.
  3. The Connector is seamlessly integrated as a payment method in your CloudBeds Booking Engine.
  4. No new user interface is introduced. Hotel staff work on their familiar CloudBeds user interface, making adoption simple and painless.

Requirements

In order to deploy the Connector at your hotel property, the following must be available:
  1. Active CloudBeds PMS account with access to the Self-Service API enabled
  2. Mobipaid Merchant account with your preferred payment methods enabled

Getting started

If the above requirements are met, then follow these steps to connect to the MP CloudBeds Connector:
  1. Create CloudBeds API credentials for the Connector. Refer to this guide.
  2. Connect your Mobipaid merchant account to the MP CloudBeds Connector. Refer to this guide.
  3. In CloudBeds navigate to Settings under the account avatar icon in the top right corner. Select Exit Guide and navigate to Payments > Payment Options > Additional and Custom Payment Methods.
  4. Add a New Payment Method. The Payment Method Name must be "Mobipaid". Click Save and activate the payment method.
  5. Next select the Bank Transfer tab under Payment Options. Activate the Bank Transfer payment option and allow this payment method on the Booking Engine. We recommend to also add a simple instruction, e.g. "You will receive a secure payment link to process payment. Your reservation will be confirmed once payment has been processed."
  6. Still under Settings navigate to Booking Engine > Customize.
  7. Scroll down to Custom Meta Tags and paste the script we provide you with.
  8. Scroll to JavaScript below Below Custom Meta Tags and paste the javasscript code snippet we provide you with. 
  9. Still under Settings navigate to Property > Policies. Select "Confirmation Pending" and activate "Auto change status to Confirmed when a payment is added?
  10. For the Connector configuration we require the following:
    1. Property ID of your CloudBeds property. (In your CloudBeds Settings navigate to Booking Engine. The Property ID can be retrieved from the URL: cloudbeds.com/connect/{YOUR PROPERTY ID}#/manage/.
    2. If you want the Connector to collect deposits in addition to the initial deposit at time of booking, you must provide us with: The percentage of the additional deposit and the days prior to arrival the deposit should be charged. You can add as many additional deposits as you require.
    3. If you want to make use of the multi-currency feature, refer to this guide for the additional requirements.
    4. If you wish to make use of the MP POS then you should provide us with a quality image of your logo submark.
When the above steps are completed, we will generate the webhooks. If successful your integration will be active.

Notes
We suggest to run a test reservation after the initial setup is complete to confirm the entire guest experience is working as expected. This can be done via the Mobipaid test key. We can switch to the production key after the test is successful.
