About the Connector

The Mobipaid Connector seamlessly integrates the Mobipaid payment technology and gateway with Zoho Bookings. It allows Zoho Bookings users to automatically collect payments for appointments or events and have them recorded on Zoho Bookings. Together with the Mobipaid Scanner app, this also provides a powerful feature for event entrance control. 
Some of the key features include:
  1. When a booking is created on Zoho Bookings, either by a visitor through the booking form or the user via the Zoho Bookings app, the Connector checks if the booking has a payable balance due. If there is an amount due, a secure payment link is automatically sent to the attendee.
  2. Once the payment is successfully completed, it is recorded in Zoho Bookings and the payment status updated. The revenue reports will accurately show the payments as and when they are collected.
  3. Zoho Bookings users can offer their clients a range of convenient payment methods such as Credit Cards, Wallets, Google Pay, Apple Pay, direct EFT etc.
  4. All payments are processed via Mobipaid's PCI DSS certified payment interface. Merchants also benefit from the most advanced risk management system to minimize fraudulent transactions.  Both offering complete peace of mind.
  5. The payment receipt QR codes can be used as entrance or attendance tickets when used in conjunction with the Mobipaid Scanner app, offering a powerful and effective attendance/entrance control system.

Requirements

To sign up for the Connector, the following is required:
  1. Active Zoho Bookings subscription. Please tag us as your Zoho Partner by clicking on the following link. European Customers, Other Customers.
  2. Mobipaid Merchant account with your preferred payment methods enabled

Notes
If you are a Zoho Bookings subscriber, but do not wish to connect with us, as your Zoho Partner, you can still make use of the Connector. We do however charge a service fee of $1.50 per month in this case.

Getting started

If the above requirements are met, then follow these steps to connect the Mobipaid Connector with Zoho Bookings:

Mobipaid settings

  1. Connect your Mobipaid merchant account to the Zoho Bookings Connector. Refer to this guide. Use the code  55597144  to establish the connection.
  2. Optionally, you can customize the message template sent to your customers with the payment link on your Mobipaid account. Please provide us with the details of the template to set it up on your integration user.
We will provision your integration user on our Cloud Integration Service and share your username and a link to connect Zoho Bookings. If you have not tagged us as your Zoho Partner you must further share your Zoho admin user ID (the email address of your Super Admin user) and the data center on which your account resides.

Zoho Bookings settings

  1. Visit the connection page we have shared with you together with your integration username, or click this link.
  2. Visit the Zoho API Console and login with your Zoho Bookings account. Then follow this guide to generate the client Id, client secret and code for the connection. Fill in all details in the form on the connection page opened in step 1 above. Then click "Connect" to complete the process.
  3. Login to Zoho Bookings and navigate to the Workflow section. Create a new workflow as follows:
    1. Click on "Create new workflow". Do not select a pre-built workflow, but select "Create new workflow" instead.
    2. Give your workflow a name, e.g. Mobipaid Connector.
    3. In the field "Triggers when" select "Booked".
    4. In the field Occurrence select "Immediately".
    5. Under choose Event Type (or your custom label) select all event types for which you wish to enable the Mobipaid Connector.
    6. In the field "Perform action" select "Execute custom functions".
    7. Copy and paste the Zoho Deluge script we provide you with into the template box and click Save.
  4. In Zoho Bookings navigate to the Event Types section. For each of the event types you have included in the Workflow created in step 3 above, follow these steps:
    1. Click on the event type to open the edit window and navigate to the "Booking Form" section in the left menu.
    2. On the "Name" field of the form, click on the edit icon to the right of the field row.
    3. Select the option "First Name, Last Name" and click on Update.
  5. The setup is now completed and your automated payment collections are enabled!
