User and Role Profiles

After you have registered on My-Flights.App you should complete your User Profile. The User Profile contains your personal and contact details which are used by the application.
As part of your User Profile you are required to select your role in the My-Flights.App Eco System, i.e. whether you are using the app as a Pilot or Operator. Based on your selection the app will create a profile for your selected role, i.e. the Pilot Profile or Operator Profile.
In your Role Profile you capture your role specific details, which will be used by the application.

You can have two different Role Profiles associated with your User Profile. However, you can only login and use the application under one profile at a time. You would have to change the selected role in your User Profile to switch to your other role.
We do not recommend this approach and suggest you create separate User Profiles for your different roles. It provides a better user experience.

Email addresses

Navigate to Cockpit > Profile > User Profile and select the User Emails tab.

You can manage the email addresses associated with your User Profile. It is recommended that you verify your primary email address with the app, by clicking the Send Verification button. The application will then send you an email with a link to confirm your email address. This will ensure that you receive important notifications from the Audit module.

Note that email addresses are unique. An email address can only be associated with one User Profile. If you maintain more than one User Profile, e.g. for your Pilot and Operator roles, you need to register with separate email addresses.

Auth0 Connection

Navigate to the Account Connections tab on your User Profile.

You can add or remove your Auth0 connection.
To add a connection click on the Auth0 logo which will securely re-direct you to Auth0. If you have an existing Auth0 or Google account you can simply connect with them, or alternatively select Sign-Up on the Login panel and sign up with your email and password.

An Auth0 connection provides a secure way to login to My-Flights.App and enables social login with your Google account. In addition, with an Auth0 connection you will benefit from single sign on to the Support Portal to access the Knowledge Base and your Support Tickets.
If you are logged in to My-Flights.App the Support Portal will recognize your Auth0 authentication and automatically sign you in. If you are not signed in to My-Flights.App you can sign in to the Support Portal with the same Auth0 connection, which you have setup for My-Flights.App and no separate registration and user credentials are required for the Support Portal.

It is recommended to add an Auth0 connection to your User Profile. This will ensure a seamless sign-in process across the application as well as the Support Portal.
