In order to deploy the Connector at your hotel property, the following must be available:
- Active Mews PMS account with access to the Mews Marketplace
- Mobipaid Merchant account with your preferred payment methods enabled

Getting started
If the above requirements are met, then follow these steps to connect to the MP Mews Connector:
- Request the Mobipaid Mews Connector from the Mews Marketplace. This will generate a unique Access Token, with which the Connector will access your property information. We should automatically receive your token once you request the Connector from the Marketplace.
- Connect your Mobipaid merchant account to the MP Mews Connector. Refer to this guide.
- We will provision your account on the Connector and generate an Access Token. The Mews Integration Team will then setup a webhook on your property with this Access Token.
- On your Mews property you have to enable "Online Payment" as an External payment type. To do so, Navigate to Settings > Property > Finance > Accounting configuration. On the block "External payment types" add "Online payment". Payments will be posted to Mews as Online payments and this payment type must therefore be enabled.
- Once the communication with Mews is successfully established, we will activate the service on your property.

We suggest to run a test reservation after the initial setup is complete to confirm the entire guest experience is working as expected. This can be done via the Mobipaid test key. We can switch to the production key after the test is successful.
