Aircraft management for pilots

Aircraft management for pilots

As a pilot you can log flights with any aircraft which:
  1. You have registered on My Flights
  2. Is part of the fleet of an Operator you are associated with by membership

Aircraft registration

You can register an aircraft you are flying with, provided that is has not already been registered on My Flights.
To register an aircraft go to Fleet Admin > Register Aircraft. Use the filter functionality to select the make and model and follow the registration workflow.
Once successfully registered you can manage the aircraft details under Fleet Admin > Manage Aircraft.

Unable to register an aircraft

This means that the aircraft is already registered on My Flights by either its Operator or another Pilot who also flies the aircraft.

If you know the aircraft's Operator you can apply for Membership with that Operator. Go to menu Memberships and select the Operator from the drop down list. Include a message and submit it to request approval.
You will be notified of the application outcome via email. If your Membership is approved you can start logging your flights via My Flights.
If you do not know the Operator go to Contact > Contact Operator, select the aircraft from the dropdown and submit your message to the Operator. Your contact details will be shared for the Operator to contact you.

In case the aircraft does not have an associated Operator and you are unable to register it yourself, it means that it has been registered by another Pilot. The aircraft must then be associated with an Operator profile, and all pilots must become members of that Operator to log flights.
